This super delicious Hazelnut and Pretzel Rocky Road squares are insanely good. The sweet and savoury work absolutely perfectly together, as well as adding great crunch.
These delicious treats can be ready to eat in under an hour! These are so adaptable also, as you can substitute many dried fruits, nuts, seeds, biscuits etc. This is a great recipe to experiment with. Why not get festive and add in seasonal spices to change up the flavour profile.
Hazelnut and Pretzel Rocky Road
Perfect sweet and savoury treat
- 300 grams Dark chocolate
- 125 grams Chocolate hazelnut spread
- 40 grams crushed hazelnuts
- 30 grams dried cranberries
- 80 grams Pretzels
- 80 grams mini marshmallows
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 each orange (zest only)
Line a tray (20cm x 30cm) with baking parchment.
Melt the dark chocolate and chocolate spread together.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the chocolate, saving a few marshmallows, pretzels and orange zest to sprinkle over the top. Mix until well combined.
Spoon into your prepared lined tin and press down evenly.
Sprinkle the saved pretzels, marshmallows and zest over the top and refrigerate for 45 minutes. Cut into desired size and enjoy.
